Cuts & Covers: How a feature on JuJu Watkins came together
This new series from No Cap Space WBB is called Cuts & Covers, which takes you inside the journalistic and creative process of our No Cap Cover stories. We explain how it all came together.
Welcome to a new series called Cuts & Covers, where we take you one step deeper into the journalistic and writing process. Every month, which started with our story on JuJu Watkins, we’ll have a major longform piece of writing that will effectively be our equivalent of a SLAM cover. That story will be free to everyone and serves as a way to bridge the storytelling gap in our game and be available for anyone, whether they’re a part of our community here at NCS or not.
What Cuts & Covers will be is a look at how and why we tell the stories we do and the myriad ways in which they come together. It’s meant to give you transparency into our process, help you understand what some future subscription fees may help fund and potentially be a helpful guide for other writers or those interested in working in journalism.
